The Fulton County Court system has three court service centers; Main Center is in Downtown Atlanta, North Atlanta Annex, and the South Atlanta.

Fulton County Juvenile Court is located in the Romae T. Powell Juvenile Justice Center, 395 Pryor Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30312.

A Poverty Affidavit is a form that will allow you to file your legal forms without paying a filing fee. The Poverty Affidavit form may be obtained from several Fulton Court websites:

Fulton County Courts Justice Resource Center: In the upcoming months the Poverty Affidavit form will be available for pick up by appointment only, you will need to call 404-612-2789 or 404-612-4544 to schedule an appointment to pick up the form.

Attorney consultations are available for some family and senior legal matters only. The request for an appointment for Family Law may be started by calling the Justice Resource Center at 404-612-2789. The request for an appointment for Senior Legal Services may be started by calling the Justice Resource Center at 404-612-4544. The 30-minute telephone consultation is available remotely by telephone for both family and senior legal matters, with an attorney from the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Legal consultations are also available through the Magistrate Court’s housing clinic

Adult and minor guardianship information and forms may be obtained from the Fulton County Probate Court located on the 2nd floor at 136 Pryor Street, S.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30303. Please call the Probate Court for hours of operation at 404-613-4070.

The Justice Resource Center provides free notary service for family law court documents ONLY. Notary service will be by appointment only. Call 404-612-2789 to schedule an appointment.

Yes, the Justice Resource Center provides one hour onsite computer access for legal research and preparation of court-related documents. Based on the availability of computer systems, additional time can be scheduled in one hour increments.

The JRC provides self-service copiers for public use at nominal fees, as indicated below:

  • Single page black and white copies are fifteen cents

  • Color copies are fifty cents per single page

  • Copier coin boxes take one and five dollar bills, coins, and debit cards

  • Letter and legal size paper sizes are available

Computer printing from a public access computer is available at a nominal fee as below:

  • Single-page copies are fifteen cents each

  • Both letter and legal size paper are available

The Westlaw and EBSCO Legal Information Reference Center databases may be used to access forms and information. These materials can be accessed from your laptop, desktop, and cell phone.

  • Sign onto databases. Review the databases’ table of contents and information selections. Search for the forms and information that may match your situation, e.g. adoption, deeds, appeals, motions, petitions, etc.

  • For database navigation assistance, you can call the Justice Resource Center at 404-612-4544. The Justice Resource Center staff will be glad to assist you with your questions about the legal databases. However, please note, the Justice Resource Center staff is not permitted to assist with form selection, form completion or provide legal advice. NO, the Justice Resource Center does not provide assistance with filling out court forms. Patrons who are filing family law forms may request an appointment for an attorney consultation with an Atlanta Legal Aid Society attorney. The attorney consultation service is only available for family and senior legal matters. The Attorney will not provide court representation.
