WHAT KIND OF INTERPRETER OR LANGUAGE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE JUSTICE RESOURCE CENTER?

Find Interpreter

There are many individuals living in the United States for whom English is not their primary language. Individuals who do not speak English as their primary language and who have a limited ability to read, speak, write, or understand English are considered Limited English Proficient (LEP) and may be entitled to language assistance

Interpreters are often needed and requested to be part of a court proceeding to assist in the interpretation for one or more of the parties involved in a case. Self-represented individuals should contact the Administration Office of the Court where the case is being handled to access information on how to arrange for an Interpreter or Translator in a court proceeding.

The staff working at the Justice Resource Center will use their best efforts and available resources in order to assist persons who have a limited ability to read, write, speak, or understand English.

Contact the Information Desk at the Justice Resource Center for more details and information on available interpreters or other language services. Please call 404-612-2789 or email sca.jrc@fultoncountyga.gov.
